I am the type of person who holds on to old movie tickets, random notes written by my bf and foreign currency from all my travels. I actually keep a box filled with all the random keepsakes that make up my life and my adventures. To no surprise, I also carry my camera everywhere I go, annoying everyone around me into taking pictures or shooting all kinds of yummy dishes I will soon enjoy. In all honesty, I think it’s partly because I have a horrible memory (my bf will attest to that!… hehe), but it’s mainly because I feel that living life is just not as sweet or satisfying without having a souvenir to remember all the experiences by. Through these keepsakes and photos I can remember people that have left an impression in my life and document all the fun, or in my case, all the silly experiences that make life memorable.
Because of my penchant for sentimentality, I understand how important it is to savor life as it is happening, but also how fulfilling it is to revisit memories of the past. That is why I love being a wedding photographer. I revel in being able to provide a way for my couples to hold on to that special day and through my images relive the excitement, romance, optimism and all the rest of the emotions that are associated with such a memorable time in their lives….
My style is modern and inspired by the stylish magazines that I used to pore over as a young girl. My personality brings a candid playfulness and is inspired by beauty and romance. My photographs are a representation of both, which makes for beautiful, romantic, stylish images with a touch of whimsy….
