Sophia - What was the location of the engagement shoot that you shot in 3.22.12? I hope you remember. I am desperately looking for somewhere to shoot this weekend for my family photos. Would appreciate any help.

:Personal: Cross-Country Travels Chapter 2

The second leg of our cross-country trip  went a little something like this ^.^:

Eating Texas sized steak at Del Frisco’s Steak House.  Above is Michaels Porterhouse and below is my glorious Trio of Filet Mignon.  I’m not a huge steak eater, but these were sooooo gooooood. ^.^

Full and hanging out in the hotel after stuffing ourselves.

Our brave Niko also made an appearance.

Apparently it snows in Sante Fe, NM.  Who knew?

The traditional adobe architecture is just so beautiful.

There was something about the entrance to Cafe Castro in Sante Fe, New Mexico .  So enchanting..

If you ever find your self in New Mexico, you must must must try their green and red chiles.  Michael ordered the green while I got the red.  Of course we both liked the red ( mine ^.^) better.

The best tamale I have ever had… sorry David Chang.
Who-hoo! Desert! Seeing it for the first time, I totally fell in love.

Of course, we had to pull off to the side of the road a few more times to take in the beautiful desert landscapes.  We might have been a little restless from being in the car for too long.

See, don’t say I didn’t warn you…

Hi moon!

On to Arizona and the final chapter of our journey.

:Wedding: Donna + Jeremy’s romantic and festive New Year’s Wedding

This super sweet and ultra festive New Year’s Eve wedding is such a treat for me to share. I loved the yummy light that we had that day, the couple’s choice of grey and yellow color combination was so perfect and her lace gown was drop dead gorgeous (be sure to check out the back! ^.^).  On top of that, what is better than tying the knot among your closest friends and family? Why, it would be tying the knot in front of your closest friends and family during one of the most festive times of the year- New Year’s Eve! As the countdown for 2012 narrowed, Donna and Jeremy celebrated their first New Year together as husband and wife- so romantic!! Here’s how their day unfolded….

I really adore the nervous anticipation here. ^.^

See I told you,  isn’t the back of her dress amazing!

Donna was so cute peeking out to check on her man.

See all that yummy light!

This is just too sweet for words.

“…in a sea of people there is only you…”

I love love loved the hot chocolate bar.

Donna and Jeremy, I wish you all the love and happiness together.

:Personal: Cross-country Travels Chapter 1

It’s not every day that life brings you the opportunity to travel across country.  I feel so lucky and blessed to have.  The journey was filled with so much laughter, visiting family, amazing eats, plenty of gas stations, and a fair share of meows from the back seat drivers.  The music was playing, the energy drinks were flowing( Wired B12 Rush was by far the best) and the camera(s) were there to catch it all.  I hope you enjoy my initial offering of the journey.  Much more to come …

First Stop, Chandler’s Deli in Nashville, TN for some home cooked BBQ.

The fried green tomatoes were so amazing!  Salty, sour, fried!  Yum!

We stayed a few days with my Aunt in Alabama.  Of course we had to take a few shots out by their adorable goat pen.

He was such a sweetheart.  And his beard was out of this world.

Our next BBQ stop was in Memphis, TN and a really cute place called Central BBQ.  Michael absolutely LOVED the ribs!

The next day while driving through Texas, I saw this great little spot along the side of the highway and affectionate yelled “STOP HEREEEEE”!  Michael knew just what to do.  It turned out to be a perfect spot for a fun little photo shoot.

Here I am with my Canon Eos 630 film camera.

Monster Absolute Zero Energy Drink.  The Runner up for best tasting energy drink in the world…well at least the country.

Is that how your supposed to do it? Tehehe,  I’m not really sure, but it sure was fun.   ^.^

Now off to Dallas!
